About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Searching for a something worthy...
ABOUT ME
I got my university degree five years ago. As I wait to be employed in the public sector I work as a bartender full-time in Thessaloniki.
I am an easy-going person and I think welcome to new experiences. I have things that I do every day, but I am always planning some activities to break the routine.
Some information about me is further down in my profile, look there please.
PHILOSOPHY
Mixing things a lot... trying something new is the best way to achieve this!!! Curiousity is like thirst, you can quench it for a while, but it is CERTAIN it will come back!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Maybe I can host you, if you are visiting Thessaloniki we could have a drink or coffee!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed in Barcelona, Zaragoza, Valladolid with amazing people, while on a trip around Spain and Portugal! Also, I met Fari and went out with him in Florina when he was travelling around the Balkans. Met by accident with a bulgarian guy that hosted me in Kazanlak! Met with Sultan while I visited Istanbul!
Interests
Travelling, books, movies, theater, TV series, working out at the gym, food-cooking, music, a little bit of chess, card games, board games fan, reading manga (old habits...). History, and learning about the culture and history of the places I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies :
Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Good the Bad the Ugly, The Godfather Series, Star Wars series, Seven, Wall-e, The Pianist and many many more...
Music :
I enjoy any kind of music from Hard Rock and Metal, jazz and swing, to Reggae and folk music here in Greece. I want to hear and learn music that I'm not familiar with, so if you have suggestions I would be glad to dig youtube for treasures.
Books :
The books that come to mind first are The Miserable Ones from V. Hugo, Siddhartha from H.Hesse, Zorbas from Kazantzakis. Other than that, the Eragon series, His Dark Materials trilogy from P. Pullman, The Eight from K. Neville and some of Dan Brown's books and some of Jo Nesbo. The past three years I've spent a lot more time reading epic fantasy like a Song of Ice and Fire, The Wheel of Time, Malazan Book of the Fallen, The Kingkiller Chronicles and the Mistborn trilogy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
40 days in Spain and Portugal... The best weeks so far !
Teach, Learn, Share
I can definitely try to teach you Greek, as I am a school teacher, but be warned they are a bitch!
I want to learn all about the places I visit, especially the people that live in them.. The historical monuments, the squares or the architecture in the end are just rocks, the people that you are involved with make a moment special!
I can share my experiences from my travels, some painful moments, others thrilling and others plainly stupid! Also, what is to live here in Greece, the way of thought of the younger generations, the living conditions of families and their struggle to make a living in a confused state.
Countries I’ve Visited
Albania, Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, United States, Uruguay
