Overview
About Me
American lad from the sunshine state of Florida who has long since permanently left his country to live... anywhere but the US. I'm not particularly fond of staying rooted in one place for too long so I tend to live in places for one year at the most. I'm outgoing and overly eager to constantly meet new people. When it comes to my trips, at the risk of sounding cheesy, my main goal is to make lasting friendships and to leave with plenty of crazy stories to tell. There's nothing more entertaining for me than getting to know people, having random meetups with them in another part of the world, and then the moments where I meet people from another country and we realise we have mutual friends from across the world to have a chat about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The idea of crashing at a person's place and getting the chance to know them just really sounds like a lot of potential fun. Hostels are great, but the grand majority of the time the roommates you get in those just simply remain acquaintances and have no real desire to be anything more, which is a bit of a letdown. I feel like Couchsurfing would be very different than that.
Interests
In terms of my go-to choice of activity, a drink of ceer or ten is always lovely for me, both at home, in a quiet pub, or even getting messy out at a nightclub. Used to play piano and tuba and looking to get back into both, but they're a bit of a pain to transport and I move around a lot so that's on hold for now. If I'm not working I'm either travelling or studying a language in preparation for my next big move.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not really sure how to describe my taste in music since it's pretty varied but the general impression of my mates seems to be a mixture of fear/disgust when I make a move to control Spotify, so a fair word of advice you're probably better off being the DJ yourself. I don't really consume a lot of media but my favourite book would probably be The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode the world's longest zipline in Puerto Rico before. (I had to have one of the workers ride it strapped to me because I'm so tiny that they feared I wouldn't weigh enough to make it to the end)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share tales of misadventures that all generally start with me drinking more than I probably should've. I can always give advice on where to check out for places I've gone to as well. I'm a terrible cook and a mess in the kitchen, so meals would be something I'd like to learn. Learning languages is a big hobby of mine with my current focus being German and Russian.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Adventures, laughs, and most of all a ton of drinks.
