Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host, surf and share- isn't that how it all works? =)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I randomly met with people on CS in Edinburgh through friends who were hosting and got inspired enough to surf for the first time in Istanbul in the summer of 2011. Now I'm even happy to offer my own couch and I'm sure it will result in lots of new friendships which I am very excited about ^^
Interests
I photograph every now and then, practice yoga when I want to disconnect from reality, strum on my ukulele for giggles and enjoy music in almost every way. I'm also into knitting and reading, both novels and more factual stuff.
I love learning about people, what their roots are, their traditions and cultures. I'm also interested in learning more about how to live in a more sustainable way.
FESTIVALS of music, film, food , vikings and all things crazy. So. much. fun...

Music, Movies, and Books
Simon&Garfunkel, Kaizers Orchestra, Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, oriental and balkan music, traditional folk, electronica, most things classical, and... you know... Pop.
No particular taste in films, though I love pretty much anything created by Studio Ghibli.
Documentaries about the most random things tend to grab my attention.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hattusa- basically a deserted place full of ruins (or more like what is left of the foundations) of the capital of the Hittite empire. My mind was blown at least!
Coldplay.... oh my gosh. I had the most overwhelming concert experience in my life smack in the middle of the colourful Mylo Xylodo atmosphere at the national stadium in Warsaw. A-MA-ZING!
JAPAN. Man, that country is magical...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to crack open sunflower seeds from their shells and eat them as quickly as possible. We can even have a race once I've taught you :D
