A Portland native who has lived here all my life save for two years in France and a third year for college elsewhere, I bought a house last year and am a painter, photographer and bookstore owner. I help care for my family, prize physical fitness, love travel and am extremely open minded as I shoot mostly photos of nude women and am expanding into new work in a similar vein. I paint highly textural oil paintings and prefer to live with passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

An ex had great experiences with couchsurfing and I am open to hosting travelers if they interest me and are also open minded about creating and new experiences. My French has become rusty so it would be nice to host some interesting Francais as well.

All the good ones and none of the bad ones. Prince is my favorite, along with the Coen Brothers, PT Anderson and some of the classics. These days I read economic things but Vonnegut, Hemingway, Michael Lewis and a couple others can still convince me to sit still with a book.
