COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've made some lasting connections through couch surfing and have been overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality of the people who have hosted me, formally through Couchsurfing or informally when meeting along the way.

Interests

Being in nature. Helping whenever I can. Learning about culture and beliefs. Trying new food. Yoga, SCUBA, freediving, cycle touring, spirituality, meditation. Volunteering.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mountain climbing in the Himalayas, SCUBA diving & free diving- being one with the underwater world. Holding my 3 day old niece. Solo bike trips through South East Asia, with the highlight being Borneo. Building homes, toilets, showers, roofs in Phillipines, Fiji, and Puero Rico for survivors of natural disasters. Hanging out with my Mom while she faced & beat lung cancer.

Teach, Learn, Share

Most importantly I can share energy, presence, time, listening and perspective. I can also teach or share yoga, massage, SCUBA knowledge, or anything about places I've been.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts I can share conversations, friendship, some ideas or practices of yoga, thoughts bout life and the world. I enjoy talking with people about their dreams and how they might be possible.
