About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I finished my master in applied ethics about a year ago and have been working and traveling since. At the moment me and my girlfriend Iris, whom I have been together with for the last four years, have been travelling through Mexico and Morocco for the past three months. After the summer I want to find a nice job and settle down in Amsterdam.
ABOUT ME
I have lived almost my whole life in Amsterdam, but I moved to Middelburg for my studies four years ago. I majored in anthropology, philosophy, law and religious studies, which already shows how broad my interests are. After finishing this I moved to Utrecht where I did a master in applied ethics, with a focus on economic, environmental, and legal ethics. Now, after doing so much philosophy and asking so many questions I don’t know what to do in my day to day life. The only thing I know is that I want to bring something positive to this world and change it for the better. Perhaps I would like to become a teacher, or join an international organization, such as the United Nations.
My friends tend to describe me as an annoying guy that makes too many jokes, which I think are really funny, and who is the last one to leave a party. But on the other hand I can be serious and don’t shy away from a good conversation. Overall I would describe myself as a positive guy who likes to laugh a lot and live life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I really enjoy seeing a country through the eyes of someone who lives there and because I love to meet new people. And because I would love to have friends all over the world
Interests
Philosophy, especially Plato, Aristotle, Nietszche, Sartre and Camus. I love to read books, although I do it a lot less, since I have to read a lot for my study. Spending time outside, on the beach or in a park playing frisbee, football or just hang out in the sun. Watching movies, going out with my friends, playing board games, listening to music, cooking, having conversations that go on and on and on until deep in the night, and traveling.
