Hello Couchsurfing world!

My name's Nilou from Toronto, Canada....but I've been living in the lovely Netherlands for the past year and a bit studying and doing an internship.

I just finished my Bachelor's degree and am ready to adventure and meet some lovely people a long the way who I can share music with, have awesome conversations with and maybe some coffee and wine.

Last year I tried to have coffee in every city I went to and I think I did quite well...I'm trying to continue that goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed while travelling during my exchange in The Netherlands and found it to be one of the most awesome experiences ever. Being able to meet locals and submerge into the culture of a place is beyond compare to following a tourist guide.

I want to meet as many lovely people as I can and listen to their stories while exploring new places.

I like music, festivals, trying new food, coffee, hikes, documentaries, local art/music, late night conversations, early morning conversations, midday conversations and unplanned random adventures like getting lost in a city.
