我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like not only getting to know countries through their cities and nature, but also through the people living there. I would really like to get to know people all over the world.

兴趣

So of course I like travelling, different cultures, history and nature. Probably most people here do ;) I also really love to just drive through foreign landscapes. But I also love to experience cities by walking through them for hours :)

Two special interests, I have, are video games and motor sport.

So I am quite a video game nerd. I don't play that much, though. Maybe I even read more about games than actually playing them ;) But I am really fascinated by the medium: the art, the tech, the business behind it.

And I really like motor sports. To not waste to much time, I am restricting myself to "only" Formula 1, MotoGP, WRC, RX, Dakar and the 24h of Le Mans. Because, to be honest, there are of course often boring races, after which I am thinking why I havent't spend the time more useful. But somehow I am addicted to that sport and every attempt to stop watching motor sports completely has failed ;)

Music: My favourite genre is Indie like "Angus & Julia Stone" or Radical Face. I also like a lot of older bands like Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Supertramp or Dire Straits. But I am open to Beastie Boys or electro as well.

Movies: I like the films from Leone, Kubrick, Scorsese and Wes Anderson. Some of my favourite movies from the last few years are "Into the Wild", "her" and "Ex Machina". Movies that let you start to think about (your) life.

I did a year "work and travel" in Australia in 2009/2010, picking a lot of strawberries :)
