Overview
About Me
Let's start with the soft facts: I love Tiramisu and claim to be a master in (potentially vegan) Tiramisu making, last summer I achieved more than 10.000 train km with my interrail pass and I am very fascinated by renewable energies. Also, i get very excited if I can save a couple of euros on train rides. Hard facts: 27 year old sustainability student, currently busy with my master thesis, German, live in Den Haag at the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Maybe it sounds a bit cheesy, but I would say it is the most exciting and honest way of traveling as you have the opportunity to actually meet local people and gain insights into the culture. Ever since my highschool exchange and my studies abroad, I have enjoyed to meet people from different countries, because honestly sighseeing looses its attraction if not mixed with personal insights :)
Interests
I can tell you a lot of sustainability both from a systemic and a personal perspective. I am very passionate about any topic related to change within our current economic and political system. Currently most interested in systematic economic change to live within planetary boundaries, societal implications and solutions. Also, I like bikes and cycling and any type of outdoor activities.
