Overview
About Me
German student, who grew up in a classic, middle-class household and who never was really adventurous but who always dreamed about discovering the world.
In my childhood I always read books about discoverer in the time of exploration as well as the classic german book series about the fictious journeys of an german doctor in North Africa and the Middle East by Karl May, which is justifiable criticized nowadays, but thaught me to be open-minded about other cultures and traditions and in general started my interest for travelling and other countries.
Especially I like to learn about a country's politics, culture and, of course, food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After my school graduation I went to Montreal, Canada for half a year, where I lived at a lovely host family.
Due to this time I realized how important and valuable the direct contact with locals is, if you want to turn your traveling to a real enriching experience. So I assumed that couchsurfing is the best way to meet locals and broaden my horizon while traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While beeing in Montreal, where I met many people from all over the world, I realized how beautiful this opportunity is and how enriching the cultural diversity is.
One evening, a mexican friend of mine celebrated his birthday and there were people from Mexico, France, Germany, South Korea, Columbia and Brazil with whom I talked in German, English and French about various topics.
It was just such an awesome experience!!!
