About Me

I believe that there is no status quo - the only way to explore the world and keep life as exciting as it can be is permanent change! Change of locations, change of points of view! =)
Every now and then I feel locked in and need to see a new place. And when I don't have the financial means to travel to them, I would love to invite them to my place. =) It's not big, it's not luxurious - but it hold's lots of exciting things to share! =) It's not much, but it all you need to explore yet another part of the world. That's what I'm offering, and that's what I hope to find with other couch surfers. And heart. =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people. Locals, foreigner, doesn't matter - anybody that wants to have a good time! =)

Interests

Travelling, of course! =) I want to meet new people, learn languages, see places and adopt to different cultures. I like photography, taking a walk on the beach, riding the metro while listening to electronic sounds on my head phones. I love drawing, preferably chalk coal and soft pencils, I am interested in aero technology (I am a mechanical engineering student)! I want to be creative and try to make life not more complicated than it needs to be. =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...Being an exchange student in the United States first ending up in the most awful host place you can think of, but making the best of it and having the time of my life.
...Staying with a Thai family for three months, being forced to learn Thai as the only possible means of communication.
...Quitting my apartment in Berlin before going to the Philippines for two months, coming back and realizing that finding a new home is harder than I thought, stayed with friends for two more months.
...I might be a bit naive sometimes, but I am still alive and have learned a lot. =)
