About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit the coasts of everywhere.Don't have just postacard of the countries. To know the culture of the countries. To meet natives!

ABOUT ME

My friends say of me that I'm a very good person, friend of his friends. They say that I'm open-minded, nice and overall they always say that I'm very happy! haha, in fact I had a very sweet childhood and during my teenage years I was dedicated to play and train tennis and travel. After I was involved in several local organizations and during my university years I met a lot of people in NGOs and workcamps around Europe.
But always I've tried to have time for my passion: to kayak around the Costa Brava! I recommend you to visit this! Otherwise, look it at Google!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't bother the others. To be in peace with myself and don’t do anything that could harm some other. I don't need more money to be happier. I studied engineering and started to work in a very good company, but I left it because I wasn't happy. I preferred
a different work, less well-paid but that could full me. Don't be afraid to change the direction of our life. We have just one. There is a comfortable life and happy life. I'm searching the second one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Nowadays I'm not living in my own flat, but when I’m going to live alone again I offer my flat to everybody! Until this day I would be very pleased to show you my city, Barcelona. I am in different associations that promote the exchange of language knowledge. So I often meet with people of everywhere and go to some pub or park to improve our language skills.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed yet! I signed up on July 2008 but until June 2009 I couldn't devote as the project deserve!

Interests

Overall in travel around the world! In my country politic and minority sports, as kayaking, mountain courses, Nordic sky...Owing to one of my best friends comes from Ghana, I'm very interested too in Africa culture. The gastronomy, ethnic groups...
In fact I'm very, very interested in the different gastronomy of the different cultures. If you say me that this is typical of your country you can be sure that it will finish in my stomach

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: New italian movies ("I centi passi", "Arrivederci, amore ciao", "La finestra di fronte", "La vita è bella"......), some movies of Guy Ritchie ("Snatch", “Lock, Stock and two smoking Barrels", “Rocknrolla"...), Tim Burton or Spielberg films (I love the Schindler’s list), movies with Kevin Spacey (he knows very well which papers to choose…) and a long etc.
About literature, I really enjoy classical books or that have some kind of influence in you: "Crime and punishment", "Dorian's Gray portrait"...and I recommend the book that
I'm finishing now: "Il nome della rosa" ("In the rose name", of Umberto Eco, I think there is a Sean Connery film based on this book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I have time I do the lap to some island with my kayak and my friend S.David. In 2007 we did the whole lap to the Menorca island, after ten days sleeping in beaches. By this way it's impossible to miss out any beach. We visit the 100% of the island's beaches.
This 2009 summer we are going to do the whole lap to Ibiza and Formentera (Balear Islands, in the Mediterranean).
With my bike I have done some tourism trips around different countries, but I don’t think it would be an amazing thing (considering I have a friend who went from Barcelona to the China border…)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be very pleased to learn about different countries. From language to gastronomy; throughout the landscapes, traditions… I will try to help, to teach, in all the things I could! I could teach about medical herbs, human castles for example

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
