ABOUT ME

"Aiming at widening my spectrum", I travel as often as possible while enjoying life as a medical student in Lund, Sweden.

The ultimate destinations for me are those where your friends and family haven't been; visiting some remote corner of Pakistan, riding on a train on the Tibetan plateau, or hiking in the bare landscapes of Iceland sound way more exotic and attracting than spending a day on the beach in southern Europe. Hanging out with the locals is a great way of traveling, and this is why I want to get in the Couchsurfing-way of traveling!

My spectrum of enjoyable music ranges from Mozart and Schubert to Notorious B.I.G. Music is all about mood and thus varies widely from time to time!

I read lots of non-fictional literature - I like to know that what I'm reading has actually happened!

I sailed with an "East indiaman" for 18 days along the Norwegian coast, climbing the 150 ft. masts, raising the sails in heavy rain, and sleeping in a hammock rocking to the rhytm of the waves.
