Me es complicado definirme con palabras, mejor defíneme tú con lo que te contaré. Tengo una vida rutinaria durante la semana, que para muchos puede ser aburrida pero no, cuando te dedicas a hacer lo que te gusta lo disfrutas, supongo que tengo suerte porque muchos se dedican a cosas que odian pero están obligados a hacerlo. Cuando no estoy disfrutando de mis responsabilidades estoy visitando a mi familia, porque los veo poco y me gusta estar con ellos aunque sea horas. Y sí, como cualquiera que llegó a CS me encanta viajar, porque descubro y aprendo muchas cosas, no solo de los lugares a donde voy, sino de mi mismo. Y para terminar, me encanta leer, y aunque no lo haga como cuando era niño, tener un libro en mi mano me causa la misma apacible sensación que la primera vez. Además que leer es otra forma de viajar sin moverte de donde estás. Y viajar y leer te hace más libre.

Por cierto, olvidaba decir que manejo un personaje algo famoso en internet, su nombre es Punketo y me acompaña en mis viajes, pueden verlo en las fotos de mi perfil.

I find it quite complicated to define myself in words. But I’ll tell you some fun facts about me and you can come up with your own “definition” of me. How about that?
So, lets see. I have a pretty ordinary daily lifestyle which may sound kind of boring to some, but not to those who enjoy working on what you love. I consider myself very fortunate, cause majority of people do what they don’t like, but have to do it.
When im not enjoying my responsibilities, i go visit my family. Can’t see them all the time so i enjoy every minute, even if its just for a few hours.
Like many of you, i landed in couch surfing cause i love to travel. I love to discover and learn new things, not only about the places i go but also i learn more about myself.
Last but not least, i love to read. Even though I don’t do it as often as i used to, having a book in my hands gives me the same feeling i had the first time i read. Reading is also another way to travel without moving from where you are. Reading and traveling sets you free.

By the way, I forgot to mention that i handle a kind of popular account on the internet. “Punketo” is the character’s name, and travels everywhere with me. You can check him out in my photos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Como dije, leer es como viajar por lugares a través de letras pero conocer personas es como viajar a través de historias que sus mismos protagonistas te pueden contar. Por eso me encanta Couchsurfing, porque me permite conocer a esas personas y sus historias.

As I previously said, reading is like traveling through words, but meeting people is like traveling through stories told by their main character. This is why i love Couchsurfing, it allows me to meet people and their stories.

Me gusta descubrir nuevos sonidos, nuevas imágenes y nuevas letras. Tengo mis gustos sí, pero no quiero limitarme a eso poniéndolos aquí. La cultura es tan rica como para deducirlo en una lista.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nacer, aunque suene insignificante y ridículo, cada cosa que hacemos tiene un origen pero el origen de todo es cuando nacemos y yo tengo la suerte de haberlo hecho y a partir de ahí podemos hacer otras cosas increíbles. Gracias mamá y papá.

To be born. It may sound funny and probably weird, I know. But everything has an origin, and to me means birth. Thank goodness i was able to be born, and that fact only, allows me to do amazing things. Thanks mom and dad.

Lo que más me gusta de esto es aprender el uno del otro, enseñando cosas y compartiendo historias. Me gusta el intercambio cultural que hay cuando recibo a alguien o cuando alguien me recibe.
