We‘re Nadine and Nils and are based in Frankfurt, Germany. We‘re spending the first half of 2026 to make a dream come true and travel around the globe. We love to dive into new cultures and get to know new people, places and customs. That's why I (Nils) studied social anthropology and philosophy and Nadine became a Yoga teacher in 2024. Also we are both pretty passionate about photography (digital and film). We would describe ourselves as pretty easy going and like to meet new people and grow our network of friends around the globe! I (Nils) did couchsurfing many times in Hungary, Mexico and Chile and, of course, Germany as a surfer but also hosted many surfers during my time in Heidelberg. It's been pretty much fun, often inspiring and got me unforgettable

experiences!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You travel differently, when you get in touch with the people of the place where you're at. We're no fans of mainstream tourism or insta stories and prefer to learn about and understand the places and people we're visiting. That's what traveling is about and what sets it apart from vacations or holidays, because it's not so much about comfort or luxury, but about the experience and connection.

Interests

Nadine graduated in economics and Nils in industrial engineering, philosophy and social anthropology. We live and work in Frankfurt, Germany. Nadine does process and project management for a bank and works as yoga teacher, Nils does project management for a German train company. We love to travel, either with backpack or with our camper van, which we created ourselves two years ago. We are crazy about surfing, but don't do it often enough so we suck at it (but still love it and try to improve). We love to be in nature while our daily life happens right in the middle of Frankfurt, which we got to love three years ago and moved there.
