Overview
About Me
I'm trying to see if I can start from the opposite side of the world and make it home without using an airplane.
I don't like hotels because I don't learn anything from them. They cost too much and provide no real value. I'm here to learn and do not like to be stuck in a room alone.
I've stayed with 25 different families across Africa on my own, without using this website. But I think it may be more difficult to stay with random people in more developed areas because people often have trust issues in bigger cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard that this is a great place to meet locals and learn from them. So I'm curious to see what my experience will be like on this website.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to various different types of music. My favorite classical composer is Chopin. In terms of rock, I'd say Radiohead. Kula Shaker is great as well.
I usually don't watch movies, I think they are a waste of time.
There are many great books but I tend to enjoy more nerdy books about science or history rather than fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Is probably what I'm doing right now which is traveling from one side of the planet to the other without using an airplane.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know a couple of magic tricks and I also have my violin with me. I can teach you either. I am also good at math, so I can teach that too.
