ABOUT ME

I'm a young American living abroad and having a great time. As a Peace Corps volunteer, work in site keeps me busy most of the time, although, its a lot of sitting around and drinking tea with people, but I have been trying to travel as much as I can. I have been to many places all over Morocco and have even gotten the chance to go up to Europe a couple of times. Travel is really what I live for and my great joy in life. I haven't gotten to go to nearly any of the places I would like to visit so far in my life, but I'm working on it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm mostly interested in couch surfing, but while I'm living here I would be happy to host as well. I know the location information says that I'm in Agadir, but do not be fooled. I actually live in a small village about 2 - 3 hours away from the beach. It is also a very conservative Muslim community so I can only host females, sorry but reputation is very important. If you are travelling as a couple that might also be possible. Even if I can't host I would be happy to meet up in Agadir or Taroudant if I'm around a play tour guide a little. I know Morocco can be a little overwhelming for visitors and I am always happy to help out a fellow traveler if I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just hosted my first set of couchsurfers and it couldn't have been better. They only came for the day, but I was able to show them around my community and introduce them to friends and neighbors. I hope my experiences in the future will be as successful as my first! Plus, I hope to have my first surfing experience soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music and movies. Although, I have to admit, if its going to make me cry, it better be an oscar contender if you want meet to watch it. Favorite authors: Lawrence Sterne, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, George Elliot, Charles Dickens, Kurt Vonnegut.
