About Me

Hello there!

I'm completely new to couchsurfing, however, am a veteran of Airbnb!

I like to consider myself as a world traveler, even though if most of it so far was for work so far.
I've quit my day job in London last September, during which I've already set up a firm dealing in financial services, and I've just recently set up a company in Hungary, which is of an industrial profile.

Nevertheless, I love to enjoy life - most of that happiness comes from traveling, and evidently meeting people with different backgrounds!

I'll leave the rest for when we meet! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I'v just joined as I've underestimated the accommodation prices in Hawaii to be completely honest. :)
However, after having spent just a couple of hours on Couchsurfing, I'v started watching reviews videos on Youtube, and find the concept so inviting, that I will probably start to take guests around beginning of Summer 2016!
I actually feel a bit left out for not having tried Couchsurfing earlier! )

Interests

I really do have a lot of interests ranging from astronomy to business, to finance, to politics, to agriculture, and humanity in general!
I play guitar, piano, I ride and race dirt bikes (when the opportunity strikes), I snowboard, surf, hang out with friends, live, laugh etc. :)

I'm not exactly in the 'pursuit of happiness' - I can be happy wherever I am around the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Tough on.. :)
I do tend to listen to weird mixes of classical, reggae, rock, garage punk, but also jazz and classier tunes - it completely depends on the setting, and the people I'm with!
As for movies? I can be a complete couch potato whenever I find a good show - I kinda end up watching a full season/day approximately haha.
Shows range from House, Breaking Bad, Suits, Weeds, Homeland, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, House of Cards etc.

As for movies in general? I tend to enjoy a genre I call 'mindf*ck', kind of like Inception, Interstellar, Prometheus, Source Code, or just a movie that gets me to think. I also love comedies, can appreciate good acting, and fun stories! One that comes to mind is "Click" with Adam Sandler for some reason!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmm, I don't really class my actions as "amazing", whatever that may be. One thing that comes to mind, is that I'v kind of adopted two cats from the neighborhood whilst living in London. They both had owners, but kind of had a better time at my place.
One day at the store, I just decided to get some cat food if they're hanging out around my place anyway, after which, they just started joining me every evening chilling on the couch/floor, whilst I was watching my shows, or if I had guests over.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have had some decent mentors whilst growing up - so I do feel the want to give back.
People mainly ask me to teach them how to trade stocks/fx (which I'm glad to teach, but am sick of doing actively myself haha).
Other than that, passive brainstorming, talking about different philosophical ideas, I usual learn whilst teaching others!
I'm occasionally invited to student organized events at different universities to speak about my experiences in finance.
Other than that - I sometimes teach guitar, riding dirtbikes, and snowboarding.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Even though I'm in my mid-twenties, I can share a lot of my experiences from my travels.
I grew up in Transylvania - a region many are curious about, but don't know many things about.
At the same time, I've managed to pick up a lot of knowledge simply by speaking several languages - people are a lot more confident when they can share their life experiences in their own language.
