I'm a storyteller who loves to meet new people and explore different countries and cultures. I have German, Polish and Thai roots and was born in Germany, where I also lived for most of my life. In November 2023 I moved to Lisbon, Portugal.

Since 2013 I have a Blog where I document my travels and in August 2023 I published my first book in German called "Geschichten aus dem Herz" - 7 short Stories/travel fairytales inspired from my travels and the people I met - available everywhere where you can buy books 😊

From 2019-2023 I worked in a Guesthouse even during the pandemic, which was very interesting and a amazing experience. One day I want to have my own Guesthouse in Thailand, my second Home, write my books there, give stray animals a home and host people from all around the world and offer retreats and workshops ❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see and experience other cultures and be part of it during my travels. I'm not afraid of local people, different religions and world views, food, markets, etc. even I'm vegan/vegetarian I love to check out the local food because I'm a foodie :D

I also like low-budget and environmentally friendly travels. I even have my own Travel Advice Service specialized in this.

I tried workaway (volunteered twice, one month in a remote forest camp, building a sauna and one week helping to clean a old house) and trustedhousesitters (pet-and housesitting) and now I thought I have to try couchsurfing :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After 10 years of seperation I traveled to Thailand to meet my Mother. I went there alone and only with a letter from her with her adress.
