About Me
Hello! I'm a young Japanese-American professional currently living and working as a writer in Tokyo. I love playing tourist in my own country, going out to try new restaurants and bars, and exploring the great outdoors that remind me of my Pacific Northwest home back in the USA.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most important aspect about traveling for me is to be able to connect with others from around the world who share the same passions as me for trotting the globe. That being, locals as well as other travelers. Couchsurfing seems to be a great way to get an authentic look and experience of a new place. I would love to connect with locals, expats like myself, and for travelers coming through Tokyo. I'm quite busy so I may not always be able to meet up, but I'm happy to give you lots of advice and tips, and learn about your home as well.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Please do not friend request or message me if you are looking for anything romantic or female accompaniment along those lines. I will absolutely not respond to messages that regard something different from hosting and/or cultural/life exchange. I respect your personal choices, but I'm personally not using Couchsurf for dating/romantic purposes, and have no interest in using it as so. LOOKING FOR FRIENDS ONLY!

I also love to write - currently, I'm a contributing writer for a Japanese Tourism website. Check out my articles and others' articles on Voyapon to discover parts of Japan that are unknown! http://voyapon.com/author/nina/
