We are a very nice young couple of French primary school teachers!! Easygoing persons, respectful and openminded. We don't like judgemental people, so we are not judgemental at all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We love meeting new people. So people from all over the world seems more interesting!
We hosted 3 times and we've been hosted 7 times in London, Chester (2014) Boston, Cape Cod, New York, New Orleans and Chicago (2018), and each time it was great! People were friendly and were really pleased to share their culture and learn about ours.

Interests

We are open minded and eclectic!

We like music a lot, Pierre plays the guitare and loves 60's and 70's rock. I play the piano, I listen to movie soundtracks a lot and I love Jazz.

We (I especially) are crazy about cinema, we watch movies all the time. I could live anywhere if there is a movie theater nearby. So logically, I love DVDs, and even though I'm not used to collecting things, I love our film library and I spend hours sorting out the DVDs by genres, by authors, by actors, by... I'm able to watch the same movie 4 or 6 or 10 times!
We also love series (we watch netflix) which are very very time-consuming!

We love arts; I studied arts in highschool and then at university, painting, photography, architecture, drama and above all cinema. I wish I could practice photography more cause I really love it. Pierre likes arts too and football (soccer). He studied history at university and if you are interested in history too, Pierre will be really pleased to discuss the subject with you!

Pierre plays ping pong in a club. I go to a zumba class once a week. I love dancing even if I'm really really bad at it. We play badminton together.

I'm part of a section of the Human Rights League.
I'm very interested in Non Violent Communication.

We like video games, Pierre more than I. He recently bought a nintendo switch and has been playing Zelda a lot!

We like to just relax in the sofa most of the time! We go to the movies a lot.
We like to hang out, have drinks, discuss politics and philosophy or the last football game results.

Since we bought our house, Pierre has been spending a lot of time in the garden, which looks more like a tropical forest than a garden, but it's in progress!

We love eating!! Pierre is fond of French cuisine and is not a big fan of spices, but I love food from everywhere and it's a pleasure for me to taste new flavours, dishes that I don't know!
We don't cook very much though... I'm quite bad at cooking, mainly because I want it done before it's even started. However, since I try to reduce our waste and to eat organic and local, I'm beginning to cook more often and to eat as healthy as possible! I love junk food too, even tough I'm perfectly aware that it's not healthy nor good for the planet.
I'm not vegetarian yet but I try to eat less and less meat for ecological purposes and obviously because I don't like the way animals are treated and killed. Pierre is not into it yet, he loves meat too much!

YES we are French and so we love "Baguette" and wine! (but we don't smoke... ahah. I mean, Pierre does, sometimes...)

I haven't done any extraordinary thing yet but, I have sung a song by Françoise Hardy on stage in a Swedish bar! I thought it was pretty cool!
I also rode a dromedory in the Thar desert (India), that was awesome!!
