ABOUT ME
Hi ! I'm 30 and I'm a librarian specialized in teaching French for foreigners and English in the South of France. I got lucky enough to spend a year in Argentina, then has been an au pair in Berlin and worked in Brussels for a bit. I'm now going to Japan for 3 weeks with my little brother Victor (27) who lives in Marseille. It really is the trip of our lives, after decades of reading Jiro Taniguchi and (poorly) trying to make sushi rice ourselves, it's hard to believe we are finally gonna be able to discover a glimpse of this fascinating culture, history, and landscapes !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have used Couchsurfing a lot in the past, to backpack over Europe and to host people in my students years. I have discovered the most amazing places I would never have found on my own (hidden lakes in Hungary, wild German parties).
Also attended a few couchsurfing get-togethers which always turned out to be really fun.
It appeared our best option to meet locals , which we are really looking forward to !

Music, Movies, and Books
As a librarian I get to read a lot :).;If i had to only keep a few authors I'd say some of my favorite writters are Phillip Roth, Nick Hornby and William Burroughs. I read a lot of graphic novels as well.
I listen to loads of different kinds of music. I am an unconditional fan of David Bowie, quite into electronic music, Chicago House Music especially, and 80s rap; hip hop. A lot of classical music too : Yann Tiersen and Sofiane Pamart especially.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting an alligator on the middle of the road on the Pentanal forest in Bolivia.
Watching 1000 of liters of water coming down the Iguazu falls !
Hearing the sound of blocks of ice falling into water in front of the Perito Moreno.
Spending the carnaval in Brasil.
