About Me
Hi! My name is Nina and I love to travel. I have been to twenty countries so far and I'm only 21, but I'm hoping to expand my travels while meeting locals and truly immersing myself in the culture of every country I visit. I am a singer and love connecting with people through music - I'm always up for jam sessions! I also am very passionate about social justice and human rights. I am a women's and gender studies major, and am minoring in education. I hope to one day become an ESL teacher and work with women across the globe to help and increase literacy. I currently have a full-time teaching job online while I finish up my last year and a half of college. I would love to teach in a Southeast Asian country because I have never been to that side of the globe before!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hi! I am currently looking to do a Western European summer trip, and I would like to start off my Journey in Paris, France before making my way over to Amsterdam, Netherlands. As I am a student, I am traveling on a strict budget and I know that couchsurfing is a great way to stick with that budget as well as meet cool like-minded people. I plan to be in Paris from May 20th-May 26th and then I will be in Amsterdam from May 26th-May 31st. If anyone is willing to host me, that would be amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done was travel to Lima, Peru alone and teach English at a women's shelter for three weeks!
