Overview
About Me
I'm Nina, studying to become a social worker and I volunteer at a homeless shelter.
I'm interested in nature and love to walk around in the woods, through meadows, parks or the streets from Groningen. I like Groningen a lot, you can do everything. Great places to shop, eat, or going to clubs. Very nice spots to study, to sport and to relax.
I like going out with friends, have a beer, meet new people and have discussions about the meaning of life, cook together a vegetarian meal and like to play boardgames.
I like doing some yoga, going to fitness and cycle around the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like having people around me and getting to know them. I'm a very social person and think out of the box travels are the best. I heard good things about couchsurfing, so I joined the club.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to reggae, especially dub. I went to different reggae festivals, loved it.
I also like techno, rock, pop and drum and bass, dubstep, some classic music, african vibes.. a lot!
Fav movie/series; Big Lebowski, Forrest Gump, different detectives, Fresh Prince of Bell Air, Seinfeld, etc.
Books; the 100 year old man who jumped out of the window and disappeared street cat named Bob,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on a roadtrip with three of my friends last summer. That was pretty awesome. We went from Groningen to: Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia.
I also did a bit of hitchhiking by my own, also use blablacar a lot to travel. Mostly on my own but sometimes together. I like to meet new people so all inclusive holidays aren't for me. I like to go to hostels, sleep in a tent or couchsurf!
