ABOUT ME

I am from a touristic city in the interior of Minas Gerais, Brazil. I have always had a lot of contact with different people, from different cultures and places, I think that comes from my love to discover and to know the new.

In 2015 I started the Faculty of Tourism at the Federal University of Ouro Preto in a beautiful and charming historical city of Minas Gerais. A great tip for travelers who still do not know Minas Gerais, Ouro Preto is a wonderful city to add in the script.

I am currently doing international academic mobility at the University of the Algarve in Faro, Portugal. An incredible experience in my life, because I am experiencing a new culture in a city totally different from mine.

Along with this opportunity to study in another country comes the possibility to know other places beyond what I am living. So I'm trying to make the most of this opportunity.

For me it is more interesting to know the city through the people who live, have great tips about places and become excellent companies that share their experiences. After all, a trip is not just traveling.

I am passionate about animals, especially those that I can make affection. I've had chickens, dogs, fish, rabbits, hamsters, birds. But I confess I'm afraid of some haha.

I LOVE TO EAT, seriously.
My mother is a cook and I grew up in the kitchen of her restaurant. I love cook, especially when it's for friends, when I have to cook just for myself, I'm lazy.

About sports .. I like some.
I have a preference for extreme sports, which run away from the traditional. I've tried Slackline, I've tried to climb a few times. I would love to learn to surf.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always liked to receive friends in my house, I think it's very cool to share this experience. Having the opportunity to get to know the person better through the convivio for a few days in my opinion is incredible.

Spending some time with a person who opens your house to receive other people is something fantastic. Is there a better way to get to know the new one?

This is the first time I'm using the couchsurgins. I decided to use it as it seems to be one of the best platforms to do this. You have the opportunity to travel to new places, meet new people, new cultures and new experiences. It's amazing.

I will certainly be happy to receive travelers at my home in Faro. When I return to Brazil I will also be very happy to receive travelers in Ouro Preto.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find it very difficult to talk about music or a favorite movie.

I love to listen to music, to relax or to cheer up. I'm very eclectic, I like to listen to everything. But I confess that some musical styles please me more, like: MPB, Hip Hop, Rap and Reggaeton. I really like to dance Reggaeton.

Watching movies is one of my favorite hobbies, whether alone or with friends. I do not have any favorite movies, I have several that I like a lot.
Besides movies I really like to watch series, currently I'm delighted with "La Casa de Papel", it's a wonderful series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I did and it was a wonderful experience was traveling by car with my father through South America.

Just me and my dad. Three weeks traveling between Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Paraguay. ten thousand kilometers rolled. It was the first time I traveled outside Brazil.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a great cook, I can teach some Brazilian dishes.

I can share my travel experiences, especially about the trips I made in Brazil.

And I can learn EVERYTHING that EVERYONE can teach me during the trips. I really love meeting the new one.
