Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Nina.
I'm an Austrian 23yo that's lived all her life up to now in Brussels. Musician, activist, punk, vegetarian, spontaneous, animal-lover, graphic designer to-be, sometimes "let's party until sunrise", sometimes "let's just hang out and watch a movie" but always up for adventures. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had heard of this website before, but I only finally decided to create a profile when I was planning a trip and was looking for a place to stay. That's when I realized couchsurfing is not just about crashing on somebody's couch but also about finding people with the same interests as you in your own city, making new friends, going on a hike or to a meditation class...
Interests
Music. I play the guitar and sing in a ska/punk band.
Sports. Hiking and biking, I love being out in the nature. Also, all kinds of "extreme sports" like skydiving and bungee-jumping have always tempted me, even though I haven't tried them (yet!).
Saving the world. You know, or at least make it a better place.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music ranges from Metal to Ska, Folk, Classical, Rap, even some Pop from time to time (mostly old austro-pop you have probably never heard of). But what I mainly listen to is Metal, Hard Rock and Punk/Rock.
Stuff like Testament, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Rancid, Danko Jones, The Darkness, but also: Chicago, Pink Floyd, Queen...
Movie-wise: Fightclub, Birdman, Forrest Gump, The Blues Brothers...
Book-wise: Harry Potter, La mémoire des vaincus, Persepolis, Wir Kinder vom
Bahnhof Zoo, Eat Pray Love (don't judge me haha)...
Teach, Learn, Share
I always like to hear about other cultures, languages, customs. The next language on my to-learn-list is spanish!
I can teach some guitar, bass and basic drum rhythms. And german, french and some dutch. Also maybe how to cook without meat if you're not used to it and interested. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook vegetarian and vegan dishes!
