About Me
Hi everybody! I'm Nina and I was born in Minsk, Belarus. I'm 18 years old (sorry, Couchsurfing didn't allow me to set up my real date of birth :) ). Currently I'm in the middle of my gap year after finishing school. I'm immensely interested in meeting nice people from all over the globe, I'm quite easy-going. Although I don't have really deep knowledge about the sights of Minsk, I will be happy to show them and have a cup of tea somewhere in a cozy place ;)
So far I've spent 4 month in China studying there, but after the huge realization of my values I decided to stay in Minsk. I love this city so much and wanna make everyone who comes to visit feel the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After I'd met many people from different countries scattered over the World, I acknowledged that only a few have the idea of where Belarus is. But seriously, it's such a cool place to see, so I'd like to show how hospitable Belarusians are. As well as get to know about different cultures and broaden my mind with new meetings ;) And I'm just bored at times.

Music, Movies, and Books
My tastes vary greatly, I'm keen on such music bands as Twenty One Pilots, Nirvana, Cage the Elephant, Tom Rosenthal. Since reading is one of my favorite hobbies, I've read a lot of books and I can't choose the best ones, but I think I was greatly affected by The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Lust for Life by Irving Stone. And for my teenage passion for love stories I enjoyed reading Me before You by Jojo Moyes and Five Feet Apart by M. Daughtry, R. Lippincott, and T. Iaconis.
