Overview
About Me
I live in a beautiful oasis of artists, beautiful weirdoes and queers, but sometimes I like to poke my head out and have a look at what the rest of the world is up to.
At the moment I'm looking for a place to stay in Gainesville while I do an artist residency, and also I'm searching for a place to stay in New Orleans.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to travel in my opinion is with friends and family and having them show me around their daily lives. The experience is way better than any 5 star hotel.
Unfortunately my family is way to tiny to host me everywhere I want to go, so I kind of have to branch out!
Interests
Creativity and meeting people.
In the past I've gotten passionate over a bunch of different things, from outdoor adventures to mural painting to wrestling to art teaching to working in a greenhouse. I love diving onto new experiences.
The way to my heart and soul is definitely food but I guess other things can be fun too (jk jk)
In my spare time I like to paint in my studio, bike around, hang out in parks, listen to the radio and explore parts of the city I haven't been to before.

Teach, Learn, Share
My undergraduate degree was in Community Art Teaching,
which basically means I'm "Alternative".
Jokes aside, I strongly believe we all have something to learn and teach one another. My politics are feminist, LGBTQ, and anti-oppressive.
