Overview
About Me
hi, i'm on a little break from my degree (anthropology) and am living in Mexico for a while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of it in general now that i've got mywn place i want to give back after i was hosted for so long. i think it's a beautiful medium for generosity and hospitality that would otherwise be difficult to express in the modern world. i feel secure knowing that one day when i am travelling and in a sticky situation, there will be someone out there willing to take me in and show me kindness. and i equally love the idea that i can be that person helping out a stranger, no strings attached. it's the way the world should work. and just as importantly, meeting diverse people with diverse interests and exchanging ideas.
I've also recently realised that I don't like travelling in hostels, because it's always the same no matter where you are... So i think couchsurfing is a much better way of travelling.

I really love the order Couchsurfing has put my interests in, i think it makes me look slightly deranged :)
