Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm a recent college grad from Florida, just starting my career in North Carolina. Outside of work, you'll find me traveling, hiking, rock climbing, or meticulously planning absurd trips. I love anything involving beer, yummy food, and good company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, the best part about traveling is making friends with locals and other travelers along the way. I'm on CS to meet people who enjoy sharing the places they call home, and to share my home in return.
Right now, I'm on CS to explore Colorado in a non-financially crushing way, while working remotely and trying to hike EVERYTHING before I go home to the flatlands of eastern NC.
Interests
My #1 thing is being outdoors - hiking, climbing, camping, biking, etc. I used to be a backpacking guide in college, and have started planning most of my international trips around which places have the prettiest nature (10/10 would recommend hiking the Malerweg in Germany, and hut to hut hiking in the Austrian Tyrol).
I'm also really into art and architecture. I've always been in to sketching and painting, which led me to my current job as a graphic/UX designer.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books (currently) are The Alchemist, The Celestine Prophecy, Crazy for the Storm, and Into Thin Air.
I really like going to small concerts and outdoor shows. I'm really out of touch with main stream stuff, but I love grungy alternative/indie rock.
Favorite movies: Little Miss Sunshine, Running With Scissors, anything with Chevy Chase.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I gave myself a 3rd degree burn pulling a tortilla out of the toaster.
I also amazingly survived driving from Florida to Vancouver with my college roommate over 2 months without any speeding tickets.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want we can do crafts together... I learned everything I know from Bob Ross. Also, since I'm learning Spanish, I'm happy to talk with you in English or Spanish. If you're staying with me, I'm happy to share my local hangouts and home-cooked meals.
In return, I'd love to learn about your experiences and favorite places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a pro chef when it comes to curry, and I'm happy to do the dishes. I also have some pretty embarrassing travel stories to share, if that's your thing.
