Overview
About Me
Being a VetMed student, I have a pretty tight schedule. But if you happen to travel around Munich, send me message! Even if I can't host you, I'm always open for meeting new folks and having great talks. So if you fancy having a cup of tea (or a pint of beer), feel free to text me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I often book flights or bus tickets spontaneously and make things up as I go. Being this flexible, I hardly ever have friends accompanying me on my trips, but solo traveling has proven to be my favourite kind yet, since I may start alone but always end up meeting great people I probs wouldn't have talked to if I hadn't been by myself.
With Couchsurfing it's become so easy to find like-minded travelers and locals to hang out with.
Interests
Icebreaker: talking about music
Btw, I'm addicted to live music. If there's any kind of festival or gig or just an acoustic session in a pub, sign me up! And it'd be glorious if I met someone new to share that experience with.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to Spotify All.Day.Long. I like any kind of Rock (mostly Alternative), Folk, Indie, Reggae, a bit of Metal and German Hip Hop.
Bands worth mentioning:
Radiohead, Nothing But Thieves, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Biffy Clyro, Incubus, Sticky Fingers, Johnossi, Gang of Youths, Against Me!, alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Ben Howard, Half Moon Run, The Kooks, Mumford and Sons
German bands worth mentioning: Kraftklub, SEEED, die Ärzte, Giant Rooks, Casper, Samy Deluxe, Milky Chance, Sizarr, Drangsal
Because I spend most of my time writing, listening to music, reading and playing the guitar, I don't watch telly too often. One of my childhood (and all time) favourites though: Lord of the Rings. (Hobbit is probably one of my favourite books, too.)
I've always been a weird kid. So it shouldn't be surprising at all that my favourite book (ever since I discovered it at the tender age of 12) is just as weird: Kafka on the Shore (Haruki Murakami).
I've recently developed a great interest in English poetry and literature, as well. (This would have been my dream subject to study at Uni.) So if you can recommend a piece or author you liked, please do!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Setting: the local pub in Doolin, Ireland, in summer 2017.
Musician: Does anyone know any folk songs they'd like to sing with us?
Me, having had 3 pints of my favourite Irish Red Ale and having overcome my shyness and stage-fright: yep. Let's go, lads!
"Old Mountain Time": is being sung and played.
Random woman in the crowd: smiles at me so fondly that I choke on words and giggle into the mic mid-song.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I can't offer much, but I do play the guitar and the ukulele (not as good as I'd like to but hey). I may be only self-taught but thanks to that, my repertoire of easy four-chords-songs I could teach you is quite broad.
After years and years of trying, I still haven't managed to get "Wonderwall" right though it's such an easy, classic song (me in a nutshell tbh). But I still hold on hope that someday, I'll meet a fellow traveller who can show me how it's done.
