CURRENT MISSION

This year is all about getting to know myself. I want to travel and meet/see new people and places.

ABOUT ME

I really like to read, dance, sing and cook. I also like to eat but since this year I don't eat meat anymore. I decided that it's better for the earth if people would reduce their daily meat intake and when I do something, I want to do it right: so I just decided to quit. I'm also politically active. I am a member of the Dutch labour movement and did an internship at the Dutch parliament. I'm particularly interested in international issues, environmental issues and immigration policy. I plead for more love and humanity.

I really enjoy cold weather (no rain) and then feeling the sun that warms you up. I also like people who laugh because there are pretty. And after my first travels alone, I found out that I like silence too. Riding a bus, looking out of the window and enjoy the complete silence (except the sounds of the motor).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to let as many people sleep on my couch and guide them around Amsterdam. l'll do my best to make your stay as comfortable as can be. I just want you to feel like home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people from all over the world and this year it's my turn. I want to travel and couchsurf myself.

Centres d'intérêt

I like to dance and sing. It doesn't really matter where; in a discotheque or just in my living room ;). I love the read, i like 9gag & reddit. I enjoy having dinner with a nice group of people, sleeping, longboarding and watching the sun go down in Amsterdam North, while I'm drinking a beer and the boats go by...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

When someone asks me what music I really like, it's hard for me to tell. It totally depends on my mood and the day you ask it. In general I do love old soul music; that makes me really happy. My mother is a musician so I basically grew up with music but soul has always been my favourite.

I really enjoy reading too but I don't take enough time for it. I usually read before bed. Currently I read a lot about history and politics. F.e: I'm now reading a book about the role of German nazi women.

I'm firstly on couch surfing to learn from others. I can teach you something too, like some words of my language (which I don't believe is very beautiful) and tell you about Amsterdam (one of my greatest loves).
