About Me
Hey! I'm Nina ! I'm very friendly, happy, and occasionally hectic - I like to go out and try new things. I'm currently living in Wellington where I went to uni.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted some people back home and that's gone pretty well, we've had fun! I've also stayed on a few couches (some of whom I hosted in NZ first!) and gone to meet-up events when I was new to an area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Overall great fun. No bad experiences. One couchsurfer ended up joining me and some friends for a holiday post-exams at my beach house - that was awesome.
Interests
I play around with a few different things - at the moment my main interests are rock climbing and dancing, though I'm always on the look out for something new to try. For my job I stilt walk and play with fire so that's always cool! I have an ongoing love of reading and I like socialising with friends. I went to a Rocky Horror Picture Show live screening a while ago and had the best night! I've been on a baking binge lately and my flatmates have been provided with fresh bread and bagels.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy reading and will read pretty much everything from the classics to urban fantasy and trashy romances (which are my guilty pleasure), though I'm sadly lacking non-fiction.
I like listening to music but I'm not fussy about what. At the moment I enjoy Florence and the Machine, Ed Sheeran, the Muttonbirds, Mikki Ekko, Daughter, Foxes.
I hate horror films because I'm too pathetic to watch them! But otherwise enjoy most films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One summer I was on holiday in Golden Bay, New Zealand, and some friends and I were having a bonfire on the beach when we decided to go for a swim. There was phosphoresence in the water that night and it looked like we were swimming in shooting stars - I honestly cannot describe how amazing it was. Each wave lit up as it crashed and if you walked in the wet sand each footstep glowed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to stilt walk, use 'whom' correctly in a sentence and bake bread without kneading! I can also teach you to make balloon animals!
