About Me
Who am I? Hard to explain in just a few sentences.
I am a student and moved to Berlin last year. I really enjoy the city right now. Berlin is so different from what I expected and I just love it. Despite spending all day in classes and the library, I work in a small café. I enjoy the close contact to so many different people.
I like to spend time outside. It does not have to be the mountains, I am quite happy with the next park around the corner to relax and meet up with friends.
I enjoy Berlin but even more I am fascinated by all the cultures in the world. I spend last summer in Indonesia and explored that fascinating country which has much more to offer than the beaches in Bali.
This summer I am going to the States the first time in my life. I have 3 months to travel around, see beautiful nature and astonishing cities and I am looking forward to meet wonderful people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed in on Couchsurfing to discover cities more than just by ticking off all the important sights. And I collected some wonderful memories! I like to remember that old lady in Bristol, UK, that even cocked dinner for me when I arrived from the airport. We had some really heartrending conversations and she was so happy that I could help her to send some pictures via Email to her family. I am looking forward to get to know more people and their stories and the so personal view on the city they live in.
Interests
Of course I like to travel! Moreover I like to play table tennis. You may be up for a game, but I have to say that I take it serious ;) When I need to relax, I start to cook, or you will find me in the park with the book I am currently reading (I recommend the german crime author Sebastian Fitzek).

Music, Movies, and Books
Regarding books, I like Dan Brown, and Sebastian Fitzek. Currently I started to read Katy Reichs. You may find the parallels in that. I can not take away a good thriller!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always like to talk about culture and language. There are so many similarities and then another time even the easiest words sound so different. It´s always fun to learn some sentences in a new language and then try to use them in the next best situation. I spend really nice evenings having dinner or going to a bar with my host, which would have never happened if I would have decided to go to a hotel.
Countries I’ve Lived In
