About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to learn more through travel!
ABOUT ME
I have a strong interest in Indian culture and I have been teaching myself to read and write in Hindi. I am very curious about people's cultures and learning new things. I want to see the world and have new experiences. The farthest from home that I've been is Akumal, Mexico but I have been other places too such as Winnipeg, Canada and throughout the US.
I am friendly though a bit quiet sometimes. I am open minded and curious. I love animals and I'm a vegetarian. I love to try new foods! I just love food! I love people who know how to make the most of a situation.
PHILOSOPHY
I feel like I have wasted too much time on material things in my life. I have had opportunities to travel a lot in my life but I chose not to because I didn't want to leave my things behind. The more I thought about it the more I realized that my things are only weighing me down. I look at everyone around me and I see that they are working too much and not enjoying life. They are working so much to pay for things they don't need. Now I see that in order for me to be happy in life, I have to learn to see what's really valuable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am interested in organic farming and I am learning how to regrow produce from scraps. I want to become more self-sufficiant. I am a very passionate person when it comes to things I believe in. I've been working with a few others on forming a local group that encourages people of the Fargo/Moorhead area to become more active in their community through volunteer work, demonstrations, environmental issues awareness, meetings and workshops.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never couch surfed before (besides crashing at my friends house here and there! haha) but I want to! I'm trying to find a travel companion and as soon as I do, I'm outa here!

I watch a lot of foreign movies. I love romance and kung fu!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with sea turtles and ziplining when I am sbsolutely terrified of hights!
A small group of us protested a circus and later found out that because of our attempts, they did not include the elephants in the show that weekend. It might seem very small but to us it was huge! We learned that our voice DOES matter and that we can make a difference! Next time, we hope to do something bigger!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a vegan. I have been a vegetarian for almost 3 years and have been more recently become vegan. I get along really well with people who have respect and appreciation for all living things and for our mother Earth. I'm in to recycling and I go through certain lengths to try and do my part to waste less and recycle more. I would definitely love to learn more from others because there is always more to be done and much I can learn.
