About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Practice my foreign languages, meet new people, read loads, hopefully one da travel again
ABOUT ME
I'm interested in a wide range of topics, I love travelling and meeting new people on my travels.
In my spare time I read a lot (novels, newspapers, non-fiction on psychology, history, feminism, etc.), learn languages, go to the movies, sing, play the piano, write letters and work out.
PHILOSOPHY
There are many nice people in the world. If you can't find one, be one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host couchsurfers and I'd love to go to a local meeting soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As a host: I've hosted four times so far and it's been really great.
As a surfer: I've only had one experience and it was perfect! I spent 4 nights on the couch of my Canadian friend's Irish friend's older brother in Cork. It was great - he made us breakfast, drove us into town, told us about interesting sights and things to do and was an altogether lovely and fun host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most recent amazing thing is that I drove from Toronto to Prince George and saw the many different and incredibly beautiful landscapes of my favourite country, Canada.
I also greatly enjoyed every single one of the around 15 times I've been to Corsica, one of the most beautiful places on earth.
And amazing is the perfect word for everything Icelandic :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I'm a pretty good baker, I write well, I know a few things about politics and psychology. I also speak a few languages that I'd be willing to help anyone with.
I particularly enjoy learning how to cook dishes from other cultures and one of my biggest hobbies is learning foreign languages so I'll be sure to pester you with questions if you know a language I don't. Of course only if you let me :-).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to practice any language with you or cook dinner together, I'm pretty handy, so I'd even be up for fixing things around the house if you need help with that.
