About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Change the world. But I am going to have a nap before.

ABOUT ME

Not funny, don't like to party, like to make puzzles.

PHILOSOPHY

"One should always be a little improbable."
Oscar Wilde

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think that one should not have to be rich to travel and because the most interesting thing when traveling (at least in the city) is to meet local people, and couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

Interests

I have played piano for a long, long time, I like modern-jazz dance, theater, Russian literature, and I also like hiking, canyoning and snowboarding.

Music, Movies, and Books

Nothing special : Woody Allen makes me laugh, "Jeux d'enfants" makes me smile, "The secret life of words" makes me cry...and I have a weakness : old-fashionned movies such as "Grease" or "Dirty dancing". I like classical music but also Nina Simone, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, etc.
My favorite books are "Crime and Punishment" (Dostoïevski), "La chute" (Camus), "The Old Man Who Read Love Stories" (Sepulveda) and "A Confederacy of Dunces" (Kennedy Toole).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live on a boat when I was a child, it was quite extraordinary. I crossed the desert of Sahara when I was six, amazing . I went in Harlem, to Mass, when I was a teenager : beautiful. I have traveled alone in Peru when I was twenty: amazing too. Now I am living with my boyfriend in Montpellier, working on my phD and going out with my friends, and this is maybe the most extraordinary experience I have had in my life:-).

Teach, Learn, Share

Difficult question. I can make pasta worthy of a chef, I can pretend to be very smart reading only the summary of very smart books, I guess I can teach you that:-).
And I would love you to teach me anything you can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you a place to stay and give you advice about what to see, what to do and where to eat and have a drink in Montpellier.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Martinique, Montenegro, Norway, Peru, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
