About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to explore the rest of the world and make great friends along the way

ABOUT ME

Hello!
I am a graduate from UW with degrees in International Studies, and Environmental Studies, with a minor in Global Health. Soccer, cranberries, nutella, food, traveling, and music are a few of my favorite things. Some things I am involved in at my university are Model United Nations, and music committee, where I get to help book bands, work shows, and meet awesome people, which is super fun.

PHILOSOPHY

It's hard to say anything without sounding cliche, and its hard to describe my feelings about life in a few words. I just want to always have life in my life. I want to travel, eat good food, hear great music and more. I want to make the world a better place as well, but I would hope that everyone feels the same way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some movies I enjoy include anything Harry Potter, Cosmos by Carl Sagan, Donnie Darko, random artsy schtuff, and lots of other random movies.
As for music that I like, the list goes on and on and on, I am really into alt/chillwave and always enjoy some good indie folk.
And now for books. I like Malcolm Gladwell's books, Mountains Beyond Mountains, and a bunch of others that slip my mind

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Camping on Rock Island, WI. There is no electricity on the island, and when it is a clear night, and the moon sets, you can see so many stars, it's amazing.

* Lollapalooza 2011. On the last day, there were storms on and off all day, and Deadmau5 was our last show of the night, and it just started to downpour. The heat, rain, lights, and music just made it so surreal.

*Standing in-between train cars on the train from Colombo to Kandy in Sri Lanka. I have never been around air so fresh and the scenery of "hill country" as it is called was breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a knack at making interesting and delicious food without a recipe and learning music by ear

Countries I’ve Visited
