About Me

UPDATE 6/16/18: Sorry, my fiance and I are not currently accepting guests for the Summer as his two kids are staying with us and we do not have the spare room available. We will probably be accepting guests again this Fall which is a beautiful time to visit Yosemite. If you are rolling through town, I love to meet new people, so feel free to message if you want to grab coffee or a bite!

CURRENT MISSION

To open my heart and mind to the entire world and all of its beautiful people :) And I have to say I apologize about the slow responses I've had in the past... I believe my message notifications are going to an old email. I am making it a mission to check this website more often and meet more people in the local area!

ABOUT ME

I love good company and meeting new people, and I love to travel. I moved to Clovis, CA 2 years ago and have fallen in LOVE with the outdoors here. The Sierras are awesome and any chance I get, I am exploring. My favorite spot so far has been the Eastern Sierra/Hwy395 corridor. If it's the weekend you'll likely find me over that way in Alabama Hills, Bishop, Mammoth and anywhere with a hot spring. I just got a nice camera for Christmas so my goal for 2018 is to learn how to use it! I love to take photos of my adventures and would love to meet people who can pass on their camera skills to me. Anyways, now I am rambling and don't really know what else to write about, so send me a message and let's be friends!

PHILOSOPHY

After this last year and all the ups and downs, I guess my personal philosophy would be that time goes on. All of those moments where I felt like life would come crashing down and there would be no hope for me... I learned that its just one blink in time. Life goes on and things get better. One of my favorite quotes is from an author named Paulo Coelho. He says "When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking to make new friends... For the time being, id love to meet up, grab some coffee or a drink or go listen to some music... I heard about couchsurfing from a girl while I was backpacking in Ireland, and this site seems amazing. Cant wait to get back out there and do some couchsurfing myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always stayed in hostels until finally hosting my first couchsurfers last fall. The experience was great and I met some amazing girls. I have also couchsurfed in Calgary, Nelson and Vancouver, Canada. All wonderful experiences with wonderful people.
