Overview
About Me
Relatively new to Philadelphia. Still exploring things myself! Would be fun to meet someone I can show around and go exploring with. Possible couch to crash on, depending on a few factors....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Would love to meet out-of-towners who are just as excited to be in a new place as I am, especially if they come from a place I'd like to visit. Definitely plan on doing some traveling in the next couple of months, so I'd like to get some contacts on here when the time is right.
Interests
Creative projects, visiting museums and galleries, attending art and music shows & exhibitions, gardening, cooking, reading, camping, riding my bike, swimming, canoeing/kayaking/sailing, and definitely going out and meeting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I made a list of my top 15 favorite music artists of all time in my journal at the beginning of this year, so I'll just put it right here. Obviously subject to change, and yes, I recognize it as a bit obsessive. Slowdive, Young Marble Giants, Lil' Kim, Talking Heads, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Cocteau Twins, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Neil Young (+/- Crazy Horse), Sade, Björk, Weezer, Little Dragon, Silver Jews.
Movies - Punchdrunk Love, Clerks, A Bout De Souffle, Fando y Lis, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Silence of The Lambs, The Hunger.
Books - hardest section to complete after the music section... really into works by Sartre, Marquez, Bataille, Nin, Plath, Camus, Bolaño. Absolutely love graphic novels by Burns, Clowes, Tomine, the Hernandez Brothers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been to nearly every state in the USA, including Alaska. Incredibly lucky to have traveled in an RV, wouldn't trade those experiences for the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to gain knowledge in American Sign Language (picked it up in high school but have forgotten most of it), plant/tree/mushroom identification, how to tie different types of knots, astronomy, where the best dive bars are, avant-garde and mostly weirdo shows and hangouts, and cross stitching. But really I'm excited to learn about anything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Things I would love to lend a hand with if needed/wanted: any art-related collab, helping with ailing houseplants or gardening (green thumb), braiding hair (I know a few different braiding styles!), homebrewed kombucha, organizing a messy space.
