ABOUT ME

I cannot think of anything better than exploring the world and meet people from other cultures with different thoughts and ways of living. I so much like to travel!

I am a positive, happy, thoughtful, open and funny girl. I like to laugh. Some people would say I am a little crazy from time to time :) I enjoy very much talking with and learning from people, thinking carefully about subjects, situations and life and experiencing new things. I am very interested in the importance of being able to communicate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend and I stayed with two young russian guys in Volgograd in July 2012. We wrote a girl, but as she didn't have the time she contacted her friends and it was one of the best experienced on our 2 month long journey. They were so friendly and kind and introduced us to their friends, showed us the city and made food for us. Much more than we had ever expected.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to music all the time and I like many bands and solists. Some would be: Turboweekend, Band of Horses, Iron & Wine, Kashmir, Spleen United, Veto.
I love to read a good book. It would be both books which can challenge my mind and totally relaxing books.
Social movies are interesting and makes me think. I like that. Also I like old danish movies which can make me laugh and be nostalgic. I like if something is really well made. Beautiful pictures, words, sounds, light. It fascinates me if something is a complete experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love the moment of feeling happy in my bones, in my heart, in my mind - everywhere. Mostly I notice this feeling when travelling. Maybe that is the real deep reason why I love travelling so much.
For example I had that feeling in India. I lived and worked with women's groups and one day taking the bus I just felt completely happy. Watching the Himalayan Mountains, surrounded by sweet indian people, being so relaxed and happy about my situation, experiences and work.
