About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love to travel. I think understanding a new place requires meeting locals and exchanging stories and experiences. I believe that this world is interconnected and we should all try to understand, enjoy, and learn from our travels. English is my native language and I am advanced in Spanish. I hope to learn as many languages as I can!
But in summary, the most important thing of being a traveler and a human is to be kind, compassionate, and open-minded. I get high off of meeting new people
ABOUT ME
I'm an English teacher with a passion for travel and learning as much as I can! I love having fun and experiencing the world. I enjoy spending time with friends, having a drink, being outdoors, and reading.
Favorite book: Animal Farm, Love in the Time of Cholera
Favorite movie: Edward Scissorhands
Favorite series: Harry Potter
PHILOSOPHY
Everyday I try to learn something new. I try to live simply, be kind, and laugh everyday
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For me, couchsurfing is the best way to travel. Being a tourist can be fun, but being a local is so much more rewarding. I believe that we exist to interact with each other. The world needs to connect more because we aren't that different from each other. With that being said, CS is also about mutual respect. The guest needs to respectful, polite, clean etc., but the host is offering something that is incredibly valuable too-their time and home. That's the ultimate beauty about this.
Interests
Hiking, trying new food, learning the culture and history behind cuisine, reading, spending quality time with quality friends, yoga, attempting to work out, wine, tequila
