About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to ''find'' myself

ABOUT ME

First of all want to apologize to everyone for my looong description :D I know it has many information and details that are not necessary :) but in time I was opening my profile I didn't know how I should do it, so I just was following advices of this site and it says the more the better, so I took it for granted :D I realised too late that it is too long :) and now I'm not going to delete anything since it was a big effort to write this :D so if you are bored and don't have time to read everything, feel free to ask whatever you want :)
--------------------------------------------------

Hmm, let me think…

I like to laugh and smile a lot :) like to have fun and make jokes, although I’m not good at telling jokes but I’d always be ready to hear one, or even to joke at my expense, or to be ironic :) can say I’m optimistic, I’ll always try to see good side in something even if it seems “it’s over”...

I’m very persistent person. Can’t say I’m going to have or do whatever comes to my mind, but let’s say I don’t give up easily, I’d always try again and again, that’s kind of strong will. I’m a perfectionist and pretty organized person, and found that feature very beneficial.

Like adrenalin and enjoy unusual and extreme sports. I learned to ride a horse (by the way, they are my favorite animals as well as dolphins :)) and the feeling is great. I advise you to try once if you haven’t tried yet :) I adore skiing; prefer very steep ski slopes, known as “black ski slopes” ;) I went rafting and it was wohooohooo :) My wish is to go bungee jumping and to go parachuting but I think it’ll stay only a wish :) erm, fencing seems to be very interesting, doesn’t it? ;)

I am keen on every season:
Spring: everything is green again, colorful fragrant flowers, birds chirping…
Summer: high temperature, swimming, sun bathing, long day…
Autumn: the leaves change their colors, from green, yellow, orange to red, fall and rustle under your feet…
Winter: everything is white, magic, snowmen, snowballs fighting, walking through the snow, New Year…

Like to travel, to meet new people, to gain experience, to learn from anybody. Think that everything (okay, almost everything :)) is interesting, and worth getting to know. Always ready to find out new things, and think that knowledge and what you have in your head, in your brain is something nobody can take away from you (unless you catch Alzheimer disease :)) the same with memories, which I have a lot and I’m very happy for that :)

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, be satisfied with the things you have, estimate and cherish them, and be grateful… Don’t try to get something “big” in order to be successful; probably you don’t need that… If someone doesn’t know to value “a small” he doesn’t need “a big”…

Always smile, smile, and hmmm yes, smile :)))))

“Nothing in the world is difficult; it is only our thoughts that make things seem so”
wise saying from Chine

The grand essential to happiness in this life are:
-something to do
-something to love
-something to hope for
Joseph Addison

Don’t worry, be happy :)

Learn to love yourself and everything that surrounding you - you're gonna feel fulfilled and happy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will always try to do my best to host you, to show the city, etc… But if it is impossible in that moment, if I study, if I have some exams or just don’t have time enough, I’d always like at least to have a coffee, for that you can count on me :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When it comes to CS people I hosted once. Unfortunately most of the time the circumstances for hosting are not that suitable in my flat cause I live with parents and brother. I was showing around and having drinks with people who were visiting Belgrade. Also surfed just once (the same person I hosted first ;)), didn't have an opportunity cause didn't travel that much.

Interests

Although I study pharmacy and I’m like a scientist, I adore art, any kind of it; it was always my cup of tea. I used to train synchronized swimming and was always fascinated with figure skating.

I used to play a violin. I love it, although I don’t play it regularly I still do from time to time and it feels really good. Recently got a harmonica for present so am gonna try it soon :) Love music as well, hardly understand people who can stay without moving while listening to the music. Enjoy dancing a lot, love rhythm and melody. As for dancing prefer Latino ones, the favorite is tango which I dance for almost two years now and in this moment feel that I will dance it for the whole life. It's so wonderful what feeling it provokes in me, I learned so much about myself since started dancing it. The other good thing about it is that although you don't speak someones language, you can understand that person perfectly if he/she dances as well...

Like photography, think it can be very good way of expressing yourself…

Next, I adore history of art, going to museums, watching paintings and sculptures, finding out more about painters and their lives. And not only about painters but about scientist as well and other people that were famous and historical figures-so you can conclude I love history channel and its programs :)

I’d like to know as many languages as it is possible :) English (okay, that one I already know :)) Spanish, Italian, German, French, Russian… In the first place is Spanish, I like everything that is connected to Spain… Some people even say I was Spanish in previous life :)

Music, Movies, and Books

As for the movies, I’m not a big fan of them; I watch them but don’t have any favorite one… Like comedies, romantic movies (girly ones :)) actions, detective, but in general like ones with strong message in the end…

I’m very flexible when it comes to the music, can listen to any kind of it, from classic and ambient, ballads and love song, rock and pop…

My favorite writer is Paulo Coelho-The Alchemist but many others as well…
Dostoevsky; The secret life of bees, Memoirs of a geisha, Harry Potter, Les miserable…

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven’t done or seen anything particular amazing, or better to say everything I’ve done was amazing for me :) Think that memories are very important in our lives and we have to be aware of them, and thankful… That’s why I’m going to write something I’ve read recently (don’t know who’s written it) and I liked a lot…

I know the past has shaped me now
The little moments form a blur
The times both happy and sad
All the people I one new
And the things I used to have
These all helped me to become where,
What and who I am now
Because everything has influenced me
I’m not sure exactly how
But I’m thankful for the memories
Even of the people I’ve never really met
For the people I miss, people I love
And even the people I’d like to forget
For these memories have helped me grow
They’ve mad me calm, yet strong
And now there is a story to my life
That they’ve been writing all along
So, thank you for the memories
Without them I don’t know who I’d be
Because somewhere among these memories
Are the things that define me…
