HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly watch couch surfers come and go from my landlord, Tom Berkes's, house next door. I am available to host for one to two nights at a time, as my space is not very private, but I will help out when I can. I have couch surfed once, for one night.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard great things and have seen couchsurfing enrich my friend Tom's life greatly. It's very nice to see and I love the concept so much. I think it will enrich people's lives and help us all draw our family circle larger.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: Foreign films I like, also fantastical movies like Avatar, off-beat comedy, all kinds really.
Music: Swung from all hip-hop in high school to mostly spiritual/kirtan and instrumental world music, now I'm finding an eclectic middle ground.
Books:The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley is a favorite. Light Emerging, Barbara Brennan. Too many to name. I love children's books also. Julius The Baby Of The World was my favorite as a little girl, I memorized and recited it often. Tom has me reading Brian Weiss books right now, which are excellent.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once I was kayaking at night, under a yellow moon, with a dear friend in Costa Rica, and two whales came to join us! My breath was truly taken away and I thought I might die from an overdose of beauty and magic. I will never forget that night.
