CURRENT MISSION

We have a beautiful daughter, she is from December 2013.
We have bought a new house!!! It is in a village close to our town Leiden, where we can have a lot of guests.

ABOUT ME

I am Nanja, a 32 years old female from Leiden. I am married to Vincent Giesbert (Giberski on CS), we live in a nice small apartment close to the centre of Leiden with our daughter and 2 cats.
I have a job as activity planner in my town and other places close to Leiden. I plan activities for bussiness people, families, friends, tourists and just everyone who likes to do something in Leiden (and the Hague, Delft, Dordrecht, Amsterdam, Haarlem, the beach). Like: boattour through the canals of Leiden, guided tour in the historical centre, exploration tour with a lot of missions, dinners, Rembrandt walk, workshops etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since this month (December 2016) we have bought a new house. I is in Hazerswoude Rijndijk, close to Leiden where we've grown up and lived until now. It is a large house with a attic where we would like to put a sleeping couch for our guests. We plan to move in February 2017!

For now we are at home almost every evening (we work from 9-17 hrs.). My husband and I love to meet people from other countries, so if you visit us, please brings us something from your country (food, drinks, postcard, fridge magnet etc.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are using CS a lot, when we go for a holiday to another country. We used to CS in Athens (Greece), Hasselt (Belgium), Kristiansand (Norway), Mostar (Bosnia).
We hosted many people from Poland, some girls from Russia, Spain/Mexico, Australia, US, France, China, Germany uuuuh etc. ;-)

Interests

Music, movies, a good book, salsa dancing , shopping, basketball, traveling, meeting other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done: see al the famous buildings in Paris in just one afternoon, climb the Preikestolen in Norway.

See: the amazing Lofoten islands in the North of Norway (above the Arctic Circle), the Cyclades Islands of Greece, the cities Sarajevo and Mostar after the Yoegoslavian War....
