About Me
I believe that we live to breathe, love, dance.
I am not interested in dating or anything the like. If this is in your intentions, please use mine and your own time wisefully and do not offer me a stay in your home.
I am a newly graduated, spuriously curious, warm human from the cold North found her way to Nepal.
I am travelling in search of good conversations, new sunrises on new horizons, dancing, singing, playing, exploring, acroyoga, language immersions, collaborative actions, yogic movements and moments of flow.
I am new to the online community, but not to living with people of all nations and languages, cultures and traditions, beliefs and religions, political affiliations and blessedly different experiences of the World.
I believe that we all have a shared human experience, and that it is by sharing these experiences that we discover what makes us all the same.
I am a dedicated yoga teacher and a newly graduated master of psychology and cognitive semiotics, an Aarhus-based international research programme focused mainly in the humanistic sciences. I spent the past year emerging myself in the search for relations between theories and insights from Yogic and Buddhist texts and an evolving idea from the neurosciences about the default state of mind and the experience of flow. Handing in a solid piece of master thesis and leaving my job that I love and my students that I bow to, I left for Nepal. I am spending the rest of 2018 in Nepal and India, in search of food for my soul, my body and my senses.
My first month in Nepal is spent in small village Kharkatta, Chitwan National Park in Southern Nepal. Maria and I are working for Madi Brain Power, a small library project involving currently 12 Nepali and Danish people, developing a library and compost toilets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am actively searching for acroyoga and slackline communities and places who need a skilled and compassionate yoga teacher.
Working my way across the continent, I love to meet natives and foreigners of my surroundings, to play and to work and to talk about life.
I have a big bag full of initiative, ideas, organizational skills, teaching skills, communication skills, cooking skills, hugging skills and laughing skills on my back, and I look forward to meeting people to share with.
