About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Places always seem a lot different when not experienced from a standardized hotel room, and the wonderful people and unexpected places I've gotten to meet and see on my travels are the things that have made the best memories.
I have to work and cannot travel all the time (boo!), so I figured maybe the world could come and visit me.
Interests
Cooking, playing the piano, being near the sea or a lake, knitting, sewing, nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty omnivorous when it comes to music, anything but trash metal really.
I really really really like Isabel Allende's books, they're mesmerizing. Usually I'm not the biggest detective story fan, but Jo Nesbø is also hard to put down. You know you should get to sleep, but one more page... I like good stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went for a Sunday swim in Bells Beach in Australia, probably one of the happiest days in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to knit for example mittens or socks, or how to bake some Finnish pulla!
Depending on the season we can go pick mushrooms, berries or go fishing. For the summer I know some really nice swimming spots in the sea and a few lakes nearby. If you prefer to stay on the paved roads we can also go walking around the city to see the sights :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook for you!
