About Me

Meeting the world, one couch at a time.

Digital Nomad; Outgoing person ready to meet different people; Loves good food and keen on trying any exotic ones; Tech-savvy; Travel junkie; Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver; Backpacker; Has interest in Microbiology and Marine biology but ended up in the world of Business and Finance; Photojournalist as a sideline; Business Intelligence Consultant as a profession; I’m very open-minded and cool with just about everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In July 2016, I quit my job as an Investment Accountant and decided to travel the world and never looked back, I’ve been to six continents and explored over 45 countries (and counting!). The excitement by making that big decision was crazy! But most of all, I've learned a lot of things about different cultures, learned new languages, and met amazing people! Life's indeed too short to spend most of it in a desk in front of a computer.

Our experiences are a bigger part of ourselves than any material thing. Go to as many places as you can, chase every thrill you could see. Travel. Get lost. Find yourself :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Initially thought CouchSurfing was just another social networking site, but then after being part of it for four years, I realized there's more to that than it seems. You gain friends around the world, life experiences, life stories, and memories you're gonna bring with you wherever you go.

First time I hosted was for a group of six friends from Austria for a week in Cebu, it was for a short time but definitely worth remembering. From then on, I've participated in CoushSurfing as a host for individual travelers, couples and even groups of 3-6 people.

What comes out of CouchSurfing are friendships and bonds that hosts and surfers will have in their lifetime. I have found my best friends through CouchSurfing and have been privileged to not only hear their stories, but also be part of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with the whale sharks!

Scuba Diving!

Bungee jumping!

Roller coasters!

Exotic food!(Field rats, frogs, snake, duck embryo, etc)

Flyboarding!
