ABOUT ME

Errr... that's too much to write down. You've gotta meet me in person and find out yourself. But generally I'm a lively, open minded and easy going person who loves to discover new people with interesting opinions.
I'm a music freak who's hopping all over the music scene; also interested in art and theater.

PHILOSOPHY

Lets see what happens. I discovered that you can't rely on making plans in your live as they all get destroyed by destiny. You can still choose the road you wanna go down after your plans have been destroyed as there is always another possibility, but never a dead end!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I live in a rather small flat with my flatmate and he isn't too keen on couchsurfing, so I could host you when he's not around, but you would have to share the room with me, tho I do have a very comfy mattress.
Otherwise I'm very happy to give you a guided tour of the coolest backway alleys and places in Berlin which aren't crammed with tourists yet or just go for coffee or beer - what ever you prefer :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have quite a lot of couchsurfing experiences, as I couchsurfed for nearly 2 month in LA in 2011 and must say I had the most ace CS hosts ever! Otherwise I surfed a couple of times in Great Britain and every time I made fantastic experiences! Also I was able to host some amazing travelers and loved to show them my view of the city.
Each time was so different and unique and so much fun, I don't wanna miss any of them - Couch surfers rule!!!

Interests

Hm... I kinda said that already in the about me section...
Maybe I should say that I'm a non smoker, love pets I am and into basketball and snowboarding. Oh and chess games with white wine!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music = every form of Rock, a bit Drum n Base and Dub, some Dancehall and Reggae tunes, dark smoldering electronic Beats

Deap Vally (Watch this band - they'll be big!)
Band Of Skulls (Festival Headliner at all major festivals in the next 3 years!)
Truckfighters (3 piece with one of the nuttiest guitarists ever!)
Royal Blood (2 Bothers: drummer and Bassists -which sounds like a Guitar!)
Patti Smith (Idol)
Led Zeppelin (Just an all time fav!)

Well books than... I love all kind of music biographies (at the Moment Mr Nice) non tacky fantasy and Street art DIY to feed my crazy brain with more possibilities

In terms of films I love fantasy as well, such as Lord of the Rings, but I'm nostalgic as well, so Back to the Future, Ghost Busters, Cool Runnings, Sleepy Hollow and nearly everything by Jim Jarmusch, David Lynch and Wim Wenders
And f course all good music & art documentaries e.g. Basquiat, 20.000 days on earth, I am not there, Spinal Tap - you get the picture

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last amazing thing was spending New Years Eve in this beautiful stunning city of Prague with one of the craziest and debaucherous clubs - Cross Club

You have to carefully decide between addiction, dependency and habit and than tackel those which take your freedom!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Always a nice self cooked meal (vegetarian as well as carnivorous), also swapping grand tales from our trips around the world and I am really good at fixing and mending stuff, so if you have a loose button I am quick to sew it on while I recount the story of how I traveled through tiny countryside villages in Ghana, went donkey tracking in France or drove through the United States on the Route 70 in a week - and back again!
