About Me

In a galaxy far far away....

A young man that grew up next to the most magical place on earth (Disney World) decided he would move further north so as to scale the might peaks of the Applachian mountain range...He moved to banking center of southern US (Charlotte, NC) and supplemented his travel dreams by going to work full time in a mighty multi-national corporation. He burned the midnight oil for many years...until...one day...

He woke up and realized that 10 years of his life had just passed by..and while those years had been great from a professional standpoint...it seemed like something was missing...he asked himself...Is this all there is?...is there nothing more to life than running on the treadmill that society has created?...

It was then that he remembered his childhood dreams of exploration...and he decided that he was going to make some changes to his life...Born with a passion for exploration he had spent many a night dreaming in his childhood about flying in spaceships to visit strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where no one has gone before... :P

Unfortunately technology had not yet caught up with his childhood dreams...spaceships were not yet publicly available for such travel...so he decided to explore the beautiful planet he lived on first...

so he quit his job and started to embark on a 6 month journey to see the world...to find new meaning and perhaps rediscover and reconnect with that inner self that had dreamed such wonderful dreams...

The young man is often described as being pretty laid back...He tries to weather life's storms with calm and see the blessings in each of the challenges that arise...no experiences comes into your life without a gift...if only you're able to see and accept the gift...He knows that life and people are inherently good and kind...and if you greet each with a smile than your well on your way to having a good day. He lives his life by knowing that what you sow into the world will come back magnified and so he tries his best to create laughter and good times for everyone involved. He loves intelligent discussions which come from open-minded individuals and which creates a new viewpoint on life. If you'd like to know more than he's happy to answer any questions and hopes that he and you might be lucky enough to meet each other in person one fine day! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My brother recommended it to me after he spent 6 months in Europe studying abroad. He said he had great experiences with it. I'm about to embark on a 6 month long journey to see a bit more of the world and would love to meet locals in order to experience the real flavour of a place and not just the tourist spots.

I'm also hoping to meet and connect with unique people and share mutual positive experiences and hopefully enrich each others lives just a little bit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zip-lining in on the Big Island of Hawaii! That was such as rush to feel the wind sailing thru my hair while I zipped out towards the ocean with a 1000 ft waterfall cascading below me!

Kayaking in the Bio-Lumiscent Bay in Puerto Rico. That has to be experienced at least once in your life. Especially in the rain!

Snorkeling the reefs in Key West (USA), Mombasa (Africa), and Jamaica. I had a close encounter with a shark in Key West. I'm still trying to decide which of us was more surprised. ;)

Real Jungle Safari in Tsavo National Park in Kenya. It's Amazing to see the animals in their natural habitat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be happy to teach/Share with anyone a bit about Indian culture including cuisine, language and dance steps. ;)

I'd love to swap stories about culture, life, and your experiences. It's quite amazing just how each person's story is unique and yet similar!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share experiences, teach a bit of Hindi & Gujurati, and if the right items are at hand I might even be able to cook an authentic Indian dish.
